Our latest system update introduces a range of enhancements designed to improve both user experience and system safety. With version v5.36.0, new features such as GLS parcel pickup points, cart weight limits, and Cofidis express online installment payment are now available. In addition to these major updates, we’ve also implemented several other practical improvements, which we detail below.

Parcel Pickup at GLS Points

As a convenient alternative to home delivery, customers can now choose GLS pickup points during checkout. With thousands of locations available—including shops, kiosks, and gas stations—this option makes it easy to collect parcels at a time and place that suits them best. Once the parcel arrives at the selected location, customers receive an automatic notification that it’s ready for pickup.

 

Maximum cart weight limit

A new feature allows store owners to set a maximum weight limit for cart contents. If shipping methods are based on weight, a threshold can now be defined. When the total weight of a cart exceeds this limit, customers will automatically be notified that the store will contact them with details about the exact shipping cost and available delivery methods.

 

Cofidis express online installment Payment

With the Cofidis express online credit option, customers can now purchase higher-value products on installment, all from the comfort of home. The application process is entirely online and only requires basic documents—such as a personal ID and proof of income. Approval is typically granted quickly, allowing the order to be completed on the same day. It’s a simple and flexible solution for spreading out larger expenses.

 

Personalized discounts – Now by manufacturer and product

Our discount management system just got more flexible. In addition to product categories, store admins can now assign custom discounts to specific manufacturers or individual products. This allows for more personalized offers and better-targeted promotions for loyal customers or strategic partners.

 

High-contrast mode for the visually impaired – One click away

Our website now includes a high-contrast view optimized for users with visual impairments. A yellow-and-black icon on the screen enables quick switching to a more accessible visual mode, which can be reverted to the default look at any time. This new feature aims to make the site more readable for everyone.

 

Reordered Fields – Product Name and Category

To improve the product management experience, we’ve made a small but impactful change in the product editing interface: the category field now appears below the product name. This update supports a more intuitive and efficient product upload process.

 

Cart quantity now limited by stock levels

The system now automatically checks real-time stock levels when adding products to the cart. Customers will no longer be able to add more items than are currently in stock. This setting can easily be toggled on or off via the admin panel.

 

Improved grouped product listing

The admin interface now provides a clearer view of grouped products: "Top", "New", "Featured" and "Special" offers are now displayed in one unified section. This change improves transparency and makes editing product groups faster and easier.
